About us

Il Pirata delle 5 terre is a bistro run by the Cutropia brothers.
Like true pirates of flavours, we have sailed from the South to the East, bringing with us a love of fragrant dough, traditional dishes and desserts that smell of Sicily.
At Pirata delle 5 Terre every bite tells a story: of family, of culture, of encounters in the alleys of Vernazza.

To the service I gave five but it is too little! If I could I would give much more, same to the food: exceptional. Wonderful staff, they speak at least 3 languages and are super nice, before choosing breakfast they made us taste the filling for the brioche and the coffee and strawberry granitas. I will definitely be back

Crazy place! Staff extremely friendly and helpful, truly an authentic oasis in the 5 terre where you often find places too touristy! Croissants, juices and generally excellent breakfasts, a reference point if you are in Vernazza and generally super recommended!

I discovered this place by googling, and what can I say, it was a fantastic discovery. We chose two brioches stuffed at the moment with sheep's milk ricotta, very fresh and delicious. There were many pastries available besides the Sicilian cannoli to be filled at the moment and it was not easy to choose, but we will try different ones in the coming days. The ingredients are fresh and definitely stand out from most bars that offer frozen pastries. I recommend walking a few minutes to have breakfast here, even though the bars in the marina offer a sea view, if you want to have a good breakfast I recommend coming here. The owner is really nice!
